Here is just one menu you could enjoy…Jess is hosting a family party this October to gather with her siblings and share Halloween goodies with her nieces and nephews. To make the event extra enjoyable and to allow Jess to make the most of the evening, she has hired Hog Roast Carrickfergus to cater for the occasion. For the menu, we will be serving our classic hog roast to create a hearty seasonal feast, complete with plenty of warming and delicious dishes. All of our menus can be customised to suit any guest list, so we worked with Jess to add a few child-friendly dishes to create the perfect menu for her family to enjoy.
In preparation for the gathering, the Hog Roast Carrickfergus team is planning on arriving at the private venue in the morning to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook to perfection on-site for around five hours. Once ready, the succulent pork will be expertly carved and served alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the younger guests, we will be serving tasty pork sausages, which are sure to go down a treat. The mains will be accompanied by roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and homemade gravy, to create a delicious feast for everyone to enjoy.
